I’m going to have to get more regular with the posts here on my blog. However, I haven’t been lazy. I’ve been uploading a photo every day for my lower tier patrons on Patreon, and it takes quite a bit of time.

As I’ve mentioned (too?) many times before, photography is not cheap and usually provides little or no income. I created my Patreon page to make money, obviously, but also with the idea of creating time for myself to explore what I want to show with my photography. I chose Patreon because it’s easy to post there and keep track of what I have to do. Although I could do something here on my webpage, I’m not a WordPress expert and from time to time I crash my site (which would be the worst thing for me if I knew I had to post every day).

It’s not a one way street, you will be supporting me financially and I will be giving you photographs (and hopefully thoughts and feelings) in return. I look at it as a kind of social media fan club, where for a small amount of money every month you can see what I’m doing, interact with me and, as I mentioned before, receive images.

At the present time in our history, it is not easy to promote something like this, especially as many people are finding it hard to maintain an income. My income disappeared on the 12th of March, fortunately since then some of it has returned but there is a long way to go yet. This is another reason why I am promoting Patreon, it’s another source of income for me and hopefully a more stable one as I don’t need face-to-face contact.

If you would like to know more, please head over to my page by clicking on the link. Unfortunately you can’t search for it, Patreon doesn’t allow searches for NSFW pages.

Thank you.
